Obituary of Laura L. Reed

Laura L. Reed, age 81, of Jamestown passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 unexpectedly. Laura was born January 30, 1936 in Fredonia, NY, to Dewey and Nellie (Gibbs) Winchell. She was employed by Chautauqua County as a Long Term Home Health Aide. Laura is survived by her sister, Florence Gens of Sugar Grove, PA; brother, Dewey Winchell of Fredonia, NY; five daughters: Lillian Crawford of Jamestown, NY, Charlotte (Walter) Drobnicki of Accord, NY, Shirley (Kurt) Shafer of Warren, PA, Nicole (Keith) Vanstrom of Jamestown, NY and Nancy (Richard) Scott of Jamestown, NY, and three sons: James (Precita) Crawford of Jamestown, NY, John (Polly) Crawford of Jamestown, NY and David (Terese) Crawford of Enon, OH; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-children and step-grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by her daughter, Neline Penhollow, son, Glenn Lundstine, sister, Betty Willis, and brothers: Francis Winchell and Walter Winchell. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 1 at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Pastor Edwin Attaway will officiate. The family will receive from friends two hours prior from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the memorial service there will be a luncheon at the Salvation Army, 83 S. Main St, Jamestown.
