Nothing in this world we live in can prepare us to lose someone we love to death. I am sending my condolences to both family and friends due to the death of Laura Reed. There is, however, hope for our dear loved ones in the Bible at John 5:28-29 and Rev. 21:4. For more upbuilding information for families, individuals and children go to jw.org and download the publication "When Someone You Love Dies". It's a wonderful publication for people of all religious backgrounds and has been a great comfort to me when I have lost loved ones in death. When someone you love dies always keep their memory tucked safely away in your heart.

To my sisters and brothers, I love you so much and I offer you my comfort and kind thoughts and best wishes and prayers. But, this condolence is for mom. Mom you are and always will be the love of my life. I don't know if you ever knew that. No one, not even my siblings, husband and children ever match what love we share still. I was attached to you while growing up. I'm sorry I grew up so that I did not cling to you anymore. I hope you did not see that as a rejection. I tried as I could to take care of you while you lived out here. But, we both know that your heart was in Jamestown. I know you missed the rest of the family. But, still, you stayed with me! And I really wanted you here. I found it HILARIOUS after deciding I'd take care of you, that I'd be paid for it. Well, it didn't pay much. But I don't care!!! Whether I got paid or not does not matter. it was my HONOR to take care of you! We went to the Elvis Festival at Lake George and we had a blast seeing all of those Elvises! I took you to all of those doctors. You said you 'guess that doctor (Gohel) wanted you to live long enough to put her son through college.' But we both know you were ready to go HOME. I truly hope in those last two months I made you happy. I'm sorry for any arguments over the years, anything I ever did--I hope none of it added to your situation. I am glad we got along those last two months, we had nice talks, we reached an understanding. I was glad I held bible studies on Sundays and we all prayed and I prayed with you that last night, when you were so tired you just wanted sleep. How you hated taking pills. Pills couldn't help at that point we both know! But, you took them and slept. You got up that night like you always do, then returned to bed, sitting there, waiting for me to join you. And there you were, sitting still. We all thought you were sleeping! Little did we know that you found your eternal rest! I set your coffee cup on the table where you sat in that little chair, and I still talk to you everyday, I feel your spirit here. I was hoping to have more time with you, at least two years! You left me so soon! But God has His timing and I have to accept that. I love you Jim, John, David, Lillian, Nel, Glenn,,Shirley, Arthur, Nicole, and Nancy. Look to Jesus as the author and finisher of your Faith! God Bless!
