Obituary of Wayne A. Smith

Wayne A. Smith, age 55, of Jamestown passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. Wayne was born September 2, 1961 in Jamestown, NY to the late Milo and Lois Smith. He married Tammy J. Smith on August 27, 2006. Wayne was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed to fish, golf and most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife: Tammy J. Smith, one daughter, Kellie Silsby of Jamestown, NY and one son, Andrew Riley of Jamestown, NY; three grandchildren: Savannah, Korry and Kaytlynn Moore step-children: Amanda Riley, Ashlee Riley, and Anna Riley all of Falconer, NY; and his sisters: Lori Smith of Bear Lake, PA and Mila Smith of TX. Besides his parents Wayne was predeceased by his sister, Cherie Smith Carlson, and his niece, Skylar Meredith. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 6 at Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services, 111 South Main St., Jamestown, NY. The Rev. Timothy Hoyer of Bethlehem Lutheran Church will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
