Obituary of John R Sapp

Dr. John Robert Sapp, 86 of Ashville, NY passed away Saturday October 27, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born May 21, 1932 in Pittsburgh PA to Dr. Carlos and Kathryn Sapp. John graduated in 1957 from Geneva College with a B.S. and from the University of Pittsburgh dental school with a D.D.S. in 1961. He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He was married to his wife Bessie Sapp who survives. John lived and worked as a dentist in Oil City, PA from 1963 until his retirement in 1997.
John is survived by his wife Bessie Sapp, his sons David (Marina) Sapp of Pittsburgh and John Mark Sapp of Anchorage, AK, his brother William Sapp of Pittsburgh, PA, granddaughter Lucy of Pittsburgh, PA, and his cousin Ruth Allen of Las Vegas, NV.
John is preceded in death by his daughter Linda Sapp.
At John 's request funeral services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
