I have heard of Tom's passing today. I worked with Tom several times and am friends with his son Gregg. There was never a dull moment with the "Polak" around, lots of laughs and many great memories. Although I haven't seen him for some time, I am saddened deeply by his passing and am sure he will be missed by many.

Tom and I met on construction projects across NE Ohio. He was a skilled member of Carpenter Local Union #95 and will be greatly missed by those that knew him. My memories of Tom are hard working, humorous, tenacious, rebellious, outspoken, creative, always willing to help, and dedicated to family and friends.

Tom,
I can trully affirm that I'm a really blessed person. Many people won't know why I'm saying it, but You know I really am.
I can't believe what I just read about you. I can't believe you left us. I can't believe it was a few months ago the last time we talk, I just can't believe.
I talk to my kids what an awesome american family I have and that I can't wait to them to grow up a little more so I can send them with you guys and have the experience of their lifes. You guys really touched me.
You personally showed me the meaning of the life while I was still a young exchange student. Only in a few days I understood why Tom was so beloved and why people appreciated you so much. Today its a sad day. Tears are coming out of my eyes thinking of you, I will never forget you and will make sure that my family never forget either.
You will be forever in my heart!!!
