I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this sweet man! I never knew him personally, but he was always so kind and wonderful when I saw him at Sam's Club. I will miss seeing his smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family at this time.

To All of The Blessed Family of Beloved Roger, I just saw Roger's obituary in the Post-Journal and wish to send you all my deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the loss of this wonderful man. My husband and I moved to Lakewood, New York in July 2005 and we had the pleasure of meeting Roger when we joined Sam's Club shortly thereafter. I considered it a JOY and a BLESSING to be greeted by Roger all these years each time I visited Sam's Club! :) Roger was the nicest and the best greeter who made each visit that much sweeter with his friendliness and kindness! :) During one such unforgettable chat, Roger shared with me his special story about a unique and divine cloud he experienced. Listening to Roger share his precious story gave me angel bumps as it was a wonderful testimony of God's Love and Grace. Over the years, I would see Roger and remind him how much his cloud story meant to me and he would smile. I will miss Roger but knowing he is in heaven now is such a comfort and brings such peace. This is not goodbye Roger but rather ADIEU because as believers we have the comfort and assurance of seeing one another again and spending eternity together with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! :) Hugs and Kisses from Michele and James and our feline furbabies! :)

I'm so sorry to hear of Roger's passing! I loved talking to him at Sam's Club. I now live in New Mexico, but as soon as I saw his face on FB, I was saddened! But he has a hope of the resurrection, so I certainly hope I can see him again!

Such a kind and friendly Gentleman that is always remembered and missed when we go to Sam's Club. My great grandchildren have missed him and always remark "I really miss Roger" when we go into Sam's. He always took the time to draw a smiley face on the register tape. A small gesture that meant so very much to the children.

My deepest sympathies in the loss of Roger. I knew Roger from my shopping visits to Sam's Club. I loved his quirky personality and his collection of Hawaiian shirts. I always looked for him and was disappointed when he wasn't working. I always left with a smile when he was there. He will be missed.
