Obituary of Teresa LoIacono

Teresa Cali LoIacono, 94, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday (March 30, 2017) in the Lutheran Retirement Home. She was born in Tunisia, Africa on July 10, 1922 the daughter of Rosario and Stefana Bellavia Cali. Teresa grew up in Marionopoli, Italy. Teresa had been employed at Sanitary Wiping Cloth for eighteen years, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Ross (Cindy) LoIacono, Jamestown and Roberto (Pam) LoIacono, Punta Gorda, FL. and a daughter, Josie (Franco) Greco, Punta Gorda, FL., ten grandchildren, Al (Randee) Greco, Summelin, NV, David (Gina) Greco, Las Vegas, NV., Teresa (Russ) Paladino, Watertown, NY, Ann Marie LoIacono, CA., Gandy LoIacono, Victoria Kensley, Ryan LoIacono, Orlando, FL., Michele LoIacono, Jamestown, Michael LoIacono, Hoover, AL and Aaron Nolan, Depew, NY. Several great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gandolfo LoIacono and by a two sons, Paul LoIacono and Alfredo LoIacono, three brothers, Sam, Augustino and Michael Cali and two sisters, Grace Costa and Maria Guiffre. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Chapel at the Lutheran Retirement Home. The Rev. Dan Rumfelt, Chaplain and the Rev. Dennis Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family will be present to receive friends for two hours prior to the funeral service. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
