Edward A. Hitchcock, 70, of 1732 28 Creek Rd., Falconer, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday (March 15, 2017) at his residence.
He was born in Mount Pleasant, N.Y. on January 19, 1947.
He was employed as a truck driver for ANK, Conewango and formerly was employed as a diesel mechanic for JARTS. He served in the US Navy.
Edward is survived by his children, Samantha Hitchcock, Kimberly Pantojas, Laurie Schauman, Larry and Rick Hamilton, Jamestown, Danny Hitchcock, Falconer and Tammy Hitchcock, Ohio, a brother, Richard Foster ,Ellington, four sisters, Liz (Craig) Hillerbee and Vera and Shirley, Ellington, Marsha Ramos, Jamestown, grandchildren; Brittany Hitchcock, Kaden Marrero and Brad Schauman and Jomar Marrero, Jamestown ,Makay Johnson, Ohio, Jennifer Schauman, Kennedy and Courtney Schauman, Falconer., two great grandchildren, Bella Swanson and Jacob Blakey, Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Foster and Don Rubley and by a sister, Ruth Pellernio.
The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
