Obituary of Josephine Colletti

Josephine Colletti, 89, of Jamestown, died Wednesday (March 1, 2017) in Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing. She was born in Villard, Italy on April 8, 1927 the daughter of Salvatore and Salvatrice Sciabbarasi Colletti. Josephine was employed as a cook at the former House of Pizza for over twenty years. She was previously employed at the former Sanitary Wiping Cloth and was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. She is survived by two sister in laws, Diega and Giovanni Colletti, brother in law, Calogera "Charlie" Russo, all of Jamestown, four nephews, Salvatore Russo and Salvatore Colletti, Jamestown, Bernardo (Mary Ann) Russo, Fredericksburg, Va. And Marco Russo, Washington, D.C.; three nieces, Alda (Doug) Brown, Sylvana Colletti and Mary Jo (Doug) McSkimming, all of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Antonino "Tony", Raffaele "Ralph" and Gaetano Colletti and two sisters, Concetta Russo and Rosalia DiChiara and by a nephew, Salvatore "Sam" Colletti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
