Obituary of Nancy J. Johnson

Nancy J. Harrison Johnson, 85, of Jamestown, lost her battle with dementia at 3:55 a.m. Thursday (January 5, 2017).
She was born in Jamestown on September 2, 1931 the daughter of Charles and Elsie Harrison.
Nancy was an avid lover of animals and the outdoors. She loved visiting her relatives in the south, especially going to the Mardi Gras. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Surviving is her son, Randall C. "Deke" (Debbie) Johnson, her grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson, Patricia Southwick, Lacie (Andrew) Shilling, Kellie Johnson, Thomas (Jill) Johnson II, Randall "DJ" Johnson II, seven great grandchildren, a sister, Betty Sager; and son in law "Friend" John Hooker,
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas W. Johnson, a daughter, Roxanne M. Hooker, sister, Marilyn Peiffer and brother, Charles Harrison.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, N.Y.
