Obituary of Melanie L Stevens

Melanie Lynn Stevens, 47, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Dec. 28, 2016, at 10:30 p.m., in Erie, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., at the Jamestown Free Methodist Church, 515 E. Seventh St., Jamestown, N.Y. Pastor Brett Hientzman will offici-ate. Melanie was born on Feb. 27, 1969, in Corry, Pa., the daughter of the late Ervin and Carol Goodwill. She is survived by her husband, Edward Stevens whom she married Oct. 13, 2012; four children: Kristle Moore, James Lasher, Sa-vanna Howard and Lacey Stevens; two sisters: Katrina Gibson and Theresa Bebko; four grandchildren: Pheonix, Majestic, Misty-Rose and Wynter; two nieces: Amber Wynn and Heather Willey; three nephews: Justin Pierson, Shane Pierson and David Tripp; six great-nephews: Elijah, Donaven, Patrick Jr., Tyler, Marco and Luis; four extended family members: Patrick Wynn, Christina Anderson, Sonia Rodriguez and David Glatfelter Jr.; close friends: Jamie Merry and Kathy Robinson; and many more dear friends and family. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Melanie. The family of Melanie wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at UPMC Hamot Hospital for the great care they gave and to Pastor Brett Hientzman and the church staff for everything they have done for Melanie and her family.
