Josephine “Josie” Condella Wood, 70, of 31 Hazzard St., Jamestown, died at 7:15 a.m. Monday (March 2, 2015) at her residence. She was born in Jamestown on May 31, 1944 the daughter of Frank and Sarah Agliolo Condella. Josie was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown Business College. She was employed as a coder for medical records at WCA Hospital for forty five years. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Josie loved to shop and go on cruises, but above all she cherished her family, friends and church. She will be dearly missed. Josie is survived by a son, Dan (Cynthia) Wood, Bolingbrook, Il., two grandchildren, Sarah and James Wood, Bolingbrook, Il. a brother, James (Alexandra) Condella,The Villages, Fl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua Co, .20 West Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, N.Y. 14750 The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
