Matthew B. Peterson, 43, of 114 Water St., Jamestown, died at 3:05 a.m. Sunday (February 1, 2015) in the WCA Hospital.
He was born in Jamestown on May 4, 1971 the son of Donald and Michele LaCrut Peterson, Jamestown.
Matt was a wonderful dad to his children. He enjoyed camping, music, hiking and all sports.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his companion, Heather Blair, Jamestown, his daughters, Carissa, Caylee and Abby Peterson, Jamestown and a son, Justin Pryll, Dunkirk, a brother, Mackenzie Peterson, Jamestown and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Powell, Brocton.
He was preceded in death by a son, P.J. Peterson and his paternal grandmother, Beatrice Peterson
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday in the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department.
Visitation will not be observed. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
