Obituary of Beverly Caldwell Lewis

Beverly Caldwell Lewis, 76, of 177 Maplecrest Ave., Lakewood, N.Y., died at 6:05 a.m. Monday (February 9, 2015) in the WCA Hospital. She was born in Indiana, Pa. on June 6, 1938 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Katherine Douglas Caldwell. She was employed at the former Warner Home for twenty five years. The last ten years she was the administrator. She previously was employed at the GA Home and Weber Knapp. She was an avid member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She loved to camp with her husband at Hidden Valley Camp Ground. Beverly is survived by a son, Gerald (his companion, JoAnn Lewis) Lewis, Lakewood, a grandson, Andrew John Lewis, Lakewood; two brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Caldwell, Indiana, Pa. and Terry (Connie) Caldwell, Jamestown; three sisters, Carolle (John) Christensen, Jamestown, Katherine Caldwell, Stuarts Draft, Va. and Jacquolyn “Candy” Anggabrata, Newark, Ca.; a sister in law, Judith Caldwell, Bemus Point, N.Y. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Lewis whom she married on September 9, 1961 in Jamestown and who died on September 21, 2010 and by two brothers, Ronald and Larry Caldwell. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 in Lighthouse Baptist church. The Rev. Donald Erickson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Bentley Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services and for one hour prior to the service in the church.
