Donald B. Franzen, 76, of Jamestown, died at 7:18 am. Thursday (July 7, 2016) in Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
He was born in Jamestown on November 29, 1939 the son of Leonard and Elizabeth Lawson Franzen.
Don was employed at the former Malable Iron for over twenty years and was a former member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
He was a very out going person and loved to converse with people.
He is survived by his children, Laurel (Michael) Rhinehart, S.C., Kenneth (Leanne) and Keith Franzen, Jamestown and Lisa Penhollow, Lakewood, thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother, Richard (Joan) Franzen, Jamestown, two sisters, Joanne Miller, Wompom, Pa. and Marilyn (Carl) Beck, Harborcreek, Pa.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm. Saturday, July 10, 2016, in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. Roy Ferguson, pastor of Busti Church of God, will officiate.
Friends will be received for two hours prior to the funeral service.
