Marian Tilaro DiGregorio Obituary
Marian Tilaro DiGregorio, 90, of Frederick Blvd., West Ellicott, died at 3:05 a.m. Thursday in WCA Hospital.
She was born in Jamestown on September 7, 1925 the daughter of Mario and Mary Tieccarichi Tilaro.
Marian was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and a former Marco Polo Auxiliary, the 49’ers Group, the Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers, Gaeta Club and Falconer Senior Citizens.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, bowling and golfing at Sunset Valley and South Hills.
Marian is survived by a son, Joseph (Judy) DiGregorio, Frewsburg, two daughters, Mary Ann (John) Hallenbeck, Rochester and Carol (Paul) Bell, Frewsburg., seven grandchildren, Matthew Campion, Albany, N.Y., Michael (Pam) Campion, Frewsburg, Joseph DiGregorio, Frewsburg, Gabrielle DiGregorio, Rochester, Jennifer (Mark) Ramos, Charlotte, N.C., Gregory Hallenbeck, Schenectady, N.Y. and Christopher Bell, Bemus Point, six great grandchildren, a sister, Carmela Baggiano, Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerolomo “Jerry” DiGregorio whom she married on October 15, 1949 in St. James Catholic Church and who died on December 12, 2004 , a brother, Sebastian Tilaro, two sisters, Connie Paterniti DePetro and Angela LaMarca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Satreday, July 2, 2016 in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
