Joel Lochte, 59, of Jamestown, died Sunday (May 1, 2016) at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa. He was born in Buffalo on November 24, 1957 the son of Howard and Lois Lochte. He had been employed as a cook and waiter for several restaurants in the area. Joel loved to go boating and fishing and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He is survived by a sister, Cheryl Blake, Brownsville, Tx., his companion, Barbara Deyell, Jamestown, a niece, Jodi Lochte. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Lochte and a sister, Denise Schroder. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
