Lena Cardinale Lindquist, 90, of Largo, Fl., formerly of Jamestown, died at 1:58 p.m. Saturday (July 13, 2013) in Hospice at Woodside, Clearwater, Fl.. She was born in Jamestown on October 8, 1922 the daughter of Pietro and Benedetta Spadaro Cardinale. Lena was a a graduate of University at Buffalo and was employed as an anesthetist in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years and was a former communicant of St. James Catholic Church. She is survived by a brother, Bennie (Rose) Cardinale and a sister, Fannie Parasiliti, Jamestown, three nephews, Frederick Cardinale, Tampa, Fl., Peter (Carol) Cardinale, Jamestown and Robert (Kim) Parasiliti, Horseheads, N.Y. and a niece, Marilyn (Michael) McEvoy, Goshen, Ky.. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Raymond Lindquist, who died on November 29, 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Visitation will not be observed. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
