Obituary of Anna Conti Mason

Anna Conti Mason, 86, of 1782 Park St. Ext., Jamestown, died at 8:29 p.m. Thursday (February 7, 2013) in UPMC Hamot. She was born in Jamestown on November 7, 1926 the daughter of Carl and Nancy Pinzone Conti. Anna was employed at TRW for sixteen years, retiring in 1993. She was previously employed as Frirch's Bakery for thirteen years and at National Worsted Mills. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Anna loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Janet (James) Fusco, Jamestown, Roslyn (Scott) McIntyre, Merritt Island, Fl., five grandchildren, Richard and Jennifer Fusco, Jamestown, Amy (Zach) Lyne, Tallahasee, Fl., Stacey McIntyre, Jacksonville, Fl. and Sarah McIntyre, Merritt Island, Fl., a great grandson, Austin Lyne, Tallahasse, Fl. and a brother in law, Samuel Fadale, Jamestown. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Mason whom she married on April 17, 1948 in St. James Catholic Church and who died on June 21, 2008 and by four brothers, Carl, Sebastian (Busty) , Sam and Ross Conti, two sisters, Mary Fadale and Josephine DeCastro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
