Kundan Bhutani, 97, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, November 8, 2014, at her daughter’s house in Jamestown, New York.
She was born in Campbellpore, India on April 13, 1917.She was the daughter of Bishan Singh Kathuria and Lakhmi Devi.
She was a strong woman with a generous heart and was admired by many for her wisdom and compassion. She leaves all her children and grandchildren with the knowledge that they were truly loved.
She is survived by two sons, Jagdish (Surjeet) Bhutani, India and Rahish (Mala) Bhutani, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., two daughters, Surinder (Satish) Mongia, Jamestown, NY and
Urmil (Raj) Minocha, Dallas, Texas, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hukam Chand Bhutani, who died on December 13, 2001.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. at the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A cremation service will follow. You may send condolences to the family by visiting www.hubertfuneralhome.com.
