Obituary of Jo Marie Trussalo

Jo Marie Trussalo, 62, of 147 Marine Dr., Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Jamestown, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday (October 7, 2014) in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y. She was born in Jamestown on April 6, 1952 the daughter of Frances Dimarco Trussalo, Jamestown and the late Sebastian Trussalo. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Mar-Jon Beauty School of Culture in Buffalo and had been employed as a hairdresser in Buffalo for over thirty years. Jo Marie was known for her easy smile and was very outgoing. She was especially devoted to her cat. Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, John (Julia) Trussalo, Jamestown, a sister, Carmela Ann (Gene) Fisher, Liberty Twp., Ohio, six nieces and nephews, Elisha Fisher, Rochester, N.Y., Michael Fisher, Dayton, Oh., Nicholas Trussalo, Jamestown and Michelle Trussalo, Jamestown, Jon & Joel Messina, Charlotte, N.C.. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Messina and an infant brother, Anthony Trussalo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
