Thomas A. Pintagro, 90, of Frewsburg, died at 10:41 a.m. Saturday (July 26, 2014) in the WCA Hospital. He was born in Jamestown on March 26, 1924 the son of Anthony and Rose Liuzzo Pintagro Tom was employed as a truck driver for Lyons Trucking and retired in 1979 due to a disability. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post #53 and the YMCA. Tom is survived by his son, Robert Pintagro and his companion, Sharon Goodwill, Frewsburg, a daughter, Patricia M. Tingue, Jamestown, six grandchildren, James Bradley, Rome, N.Y., Robert Bradley, Richard and Thomas Pintagro, Jamestown, Christine Reliford, Jacksonville, N.C. and Robert Pintagro, Port Saint Lucie, Fl., Several great grandchildren also survive.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Casagrande Pintagro whom he married in 1945 and who died on November 13, 2003 and by three brothers, Carl, Sebastian and Anthony Pintagro and two sisters, Carmella States and Anna Muoio. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Visitation will not be observed. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
