Mary Sarno, 70, of 186 Boulevard Ave., Celoron, died Tuesday morning (March 18, 2014) at her residence. She was born on May 8, 1943 in Bear Lake, Pa. the daughter of Anthony and Phyllis Eddy Pintagro. Mary was employed at the Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the casino (church), traveling in her RV and her dog, Spike. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sarno, whom she married on March 8, 1969 in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, a daughter, Rebecca Wilson (JR), Jamestown, three sons, Matthew (Josie) Henry, Riverview, Fl., George (Michele) Sarno, Monroe, N.C. and Vincent (Carole) Sarno, Charlotte, N.C., seven grandchildren, Joshua States (Amber), Jamestown, Mariah Angelo (Zach), Indian Trail, N.C., Brandon Henry, Riverview, FL., Destiny Sarno, Monroe, N.C., Jonathan Sarno, Thomas and Meghan Holmes, Charlotte, N.C., two great grandchildren, Jennamarie and Damien States, Jamestown. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. John L. Kuhlmann, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home and for one hour prior to the funeral service.
