Florence Flowers, age 88, of Jamestown, New York died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Absolute Nursing Home in Salamanca, NY after a short illness.
Born on October 8, 1927 in Buffalo NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Engler Chiponis.
Florence was a beautician by trade. She owned Flo Ann's beauty Salon in Buffalo, in the 1960's. She was the housekeeper at the former Holy Cross Church, Salamanca, NY for over 30 years from 1968 through 1998 upon which she retired and moved to Jamestown, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Flo Ann (Bruce) Cram of Mesa, AZ, grandson, James R.(Natasha) Eddy of Jamestown, NY, granddaughter Mary F. (Phill) Poyfair of Salamanca, NY. Three Great granddaughters, Sidney Eddy, Izabella Eddy and Olive Poyfair.
She was predeceased in death by Rev. C. Kwiatkowski.
There will be no visitation. A private Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
