Betty Lefebvre, 89, of Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 23, 2016) in the nursing facility. She was born in Coalport, Pa. on September 30, 1926 the daughter of Edward and Ann Miller Gathagan. Betty was formerly employed at Jamestown Veneer & Plywood for fifteen years and was a communicant of Holy Apostles SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Lucille Nelson and Barbara (Clyde) Wagner, Warren, Pa., Janet (Charles) Hodges, Celoron and Debra Neid, Jamestown, a brother, Edward Gathagan, Ashtabula, Oh., a sister, Evelyn Miller, Kansas City, Ks., ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcell Lefebvre, whom she married on July 13, 1946 and who died in 1969, a grandson, Michael Hodges, four sisters, Emogene and Alice Gathagan, Lois Matthews and Lorraine Kensinger, a son in law, Raymond Nelson. There will be no visitation or funeral service. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
