Obituary of Randy J. Wright

Randy J. Wright Sr., 57, of Jamestown, went to be with the lord peacefully surrounded by his family at12:05 p.m. Wednesday (October 14, 2015) in the WCA Hospital. He was born in Westfield, N.Y. on March 16, 1958 the son of Dorothy Schroder Wright, Jamestown and the late Arthur Wright. Randy went to school in Winterhaven, Fl and worked in construction and carpentry in Florida. He was a member of Zion Tabernacle Church. He loved playing football, softball, shooting pool, watching Nascar racing and was a die hard Miami Dolphins Fan. He dearly loved to pick playfully on people and was a happy-go-lucky prankster. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Laster Wright, Brooksville, Fl. four sons, Randy Jr (RJ), Paul “ Josh” and Brandon Griffin Wright, Jamestown and George “Jordy” Wright, Land-O-Lakes, Fl, three granddaughters, Ariel Griffin, Lillyann Harmon, Jamestown and Alaiah Perillo, Fl., three grandsons, Jorden Griffin, Joshua Wright and Kaden Griffin, Jamestown, a sister, Cynthia (Lenny) Hartman, Zephyrhills, Fl., a brother, James Wright, Jamestown. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wright, who died on March 20, 2002 and by a brother, Allen Wright, who died in 2009. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Zion Tabernacle Church, The Rev. Robert Reeves, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Kiantone Cemetery. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service on Saturday. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
