Obituary of Elaine J. Dahlgren

Elaine J. Dahlgren, age 83, of Kiantone, NY passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015 in the comfort of her home. Elaine was born on January 9, 1932 in Bradford, Pa to Herbert and Eunice (Samuelson) Robbins. Elaine graduated from Jamestown High School in 1949. She was employed by several local greenhouses and floral shops, Craft World, Salvation Army Thrift Store and Don Gage. Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Patricia L. Dahlgren and Gayle D. Dahlgren, with whom she made her home; a son, Ralph (Tammy Roush) Dahlgren of Falconer; two grandsons, Eric Dahlgren and Jeremy Dahlgren both of Jamestown, NY; and two great-granddaughters. Elaine was preceded in death by brothers, Herbert, Edward, and Theodore Robbins, and a sister, Marguerite Kotch. No visitation or services will be observed. Memorial donations in Elaine’s honor may be made to either, the Kiantone Fire Department, 2318 Stillwater Frewsburg Road, Jamestown NY 14701 or Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W.
