James R. Blizzard, Jr., age 34, of Jamestown, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 08, 2015. He was born on February 23, 1981 in Jamestown, NY to James R. Blizzard, Sr. and Bonnie L. Robbins. James graduated from Jamestown High School in 1999, following graduation he worked at Ed Shults. After September 11th, James was called to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Marines. He was a Lance Corporal and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. He served two tours in Iraq and was in the security and communication division. After his time in the military James came back to Jamestown and attended JCC. Besides his parents James is survived by his son, Tyler James Blizzard; sister, Danielle Blizzard; brother, David Robbins; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Sarah Spoon. He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents, and his aunt Lori Dean. A private graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
