Obituary of Louis J. Guiffrida

Louis J. Guiffrida, 78, of the Frewsburg Rest Home, died at 3:23 a.m. Friday (July 31, 2015) in the rest home. He was born in Jamestown on February 3, 1937 the son of Frank and Bessie Triscari Guiffrida. He served in the US Navy form 1957 to 1961 and was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Guiffrida of Puerto Rico, two brothers, Joseph and George Giuffrida, Jamestown, three sisters, Ida (Gary) Griffin, Long Beach, Ca., Carolyn Strazzo, Statesboro, Ga. and Sarah Sundburg, Jamestown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Guiffrida. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the funeral service.
