Obituary of Jeffrey L. White

Jeffrey L. White, 53, of 224 Valleyview Ave. , Jamestown , died at 7:45 p.m. Monday (May 25, 2015) at his residence. He was born in Gary, Indiana on September 14, 1961 the son of Nancy Lehn White, Jamestown and the late, Maximo White. Jeff was employed as a teachers assistant at Boces. He served with the US Air Force for ten years and earned the rank of SSGT and was a member of the WarVets. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Gracie Babcock White whom he married on July 27, 1996 in Jamestown, a daughter, Jennifer White (Mike Smith), Jamestown and a son, Jeremy (Cherie) White, San Diego, Ca., four grandchildren, Jonathan and Christopher Smith, MacKenzie Mahoney, Jamestown and Gage White, San Diego, Ca., a sister, Patrice (Mike) Heath, a nephew, Adam Neubauer, a niece, Sydney Neubauer, Jamestown. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 in Bethel Lutheran Church . The Rev. Alan Anderson, Pastor, will officiate. Visitation will not be observed. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua Co. 20 W.
