I lived just 2 doors down from Bill while I was a freshman in college. I remember Bill as being a very authentic and colorful individual. He was a young man who loved music, and lived boldly! Rest in Peace Brother. Dean Name John Murray Comment Very sorry to hear of the unexpected accident and passing of my friend, fraternity brother, and one-semester roommate Bill (aka rock n roll) Welch. Bill was definitely an out of the box thinker and one of a kind. His love for music and particularly old style rock n roll defined him, as did his quick wit and tendency to usually buck the norm. I spoke with him on the phone last about 5 or 6 years ago. Martha, if you, or any other family, see my post, I would love to express my condolences directly and learn more. I can be reached by email at johnfmurray@mindspring.com and I will be referring Bill's fraternity brothers to this website to possibly post a note. RIP Rock n Roll Bill! Name Joe Kash Comment Please accept my heartfelt condolences on behalf of William . "Bill" and I were Classmates and Fraternity Brothers at Loyola University in New Orleans . He will certainly B missed ! Yours truly , Joseph Kash '82 L.U.N.O. Name Martin Cunniff Comment I was a fraternity brother of Bill's at Loyola New Orleans. I always enjoyed his enthusiasm and love of life. He marched to a slightly different drummer but could always be counted on to him a friend in need. Rest in peace my brother.
