Mark and Sam, thinking of you both during this difficult time. Your Mom and Dad were very special to me; Sam being my Godfather and Marilyn being my bonus Godmother. I have very fond memories of them over the years, spending time with our parents, Jim and Betty Tumminia. The attached picture is from the celebration of their 60th & 50th wedding anniversaries in 2018. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers and sending my deepest sympathies for the loss of your Mom and Dad.

I enjoyed sharing with "Sam" when I'd see him after I learned he also wrote letters to the editor of the Post-Journal since we shared many of the same values. He and I wrote similar letters from different angles, and we shared similar feelings. Sam was a pleasure to have met. I'll miss his public and private contributions to help make a better world.

I did not personally know Sam, but I loved reading his insightful letters to the Post-Journal, and I felt as if I had a kind of kinship with him because he called me once, years ago, to thank me for a letter that I had written to the paper. My condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing to you.

We had some good memories back on Broadhead Avenue. Sam would play Wiffle ball with us and he gave us a ride to the high school a number of mornings. Our condolences go out to the entire Sabino family.
