Joshua "Josh" Lee VanHouten, 36 of Gerry, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 in Gerry. Born May 3, 1988 in Jamestown the son of Alicia Robbins of Gerry and the late Gerald VanHouten. He was an alumni of Cassadaga Valley Central School. He was formerly employed at Matco Tools for many years, Cockaign and Jamestown Container. Josh enjoyed outdoor activities that included, snowboarding, BMX racing in his earlier years, hunting, fishing and camping, snowmobiling and riding ATVs. He also liked 4th of July, welding and was very handy and could fix anything. He loved to help others and cared deeply for his family and friends. In addition to his mother Alicia, Josh is survived by his brother Michael Robbins; grandfather Mark Robbins and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father "Jerry", he's preceded in death by his uncle Don VanHouten; grandmother s Teresa Smouse and Jane Deering and aunt Rhonda Deering. Visitation 11 a.m. Friday in Park Church, 49 Sinclair Dr., Sinclairville with funeral service commencing at 12p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
