Graciela Martinez-Franco, 71, of Jamestown NY passed away at home of congestive heart failure with her husband by her side on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on November 24, 1952. She graduated high school in Rio Piedras and devoted her life to caring for and raising her two sons: Pedro Jr and Ruben Melendez. Graciela was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending time at the park. But her biggest passion was to make sure anyone or everyone had a full stomach. She made sure whoever stepped into her home did not leave hungry. Graciela always asked the same questions; Are you hungry? Did you eat? Let me make you a plate. Cooking was her main passion. Graciela will be deeply missed by her lifetime companion, Pedro Melendez Sr. and her sons Pedro (Carmen) Melendez Jr of Jamestown NY and Ruben (Karrie) Melendez of Tampa, Fl. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A private service was held graveside at Lakeview Cemetery on 18th of October 2024. Send a condolence by visiting www.hubertfuneralhome.com
