Obituary of Douglas Howie

Douglas Mansfield Howie, 68 of 618 Newland Ave Jamestown NY passed away on September 10,2024. He was born on April 9, 1956, in Brooklyn NY to Adam and Ellabelle Howie. Before being disabled, Doug or fresh as he was known to his family and friends worked for the Resource Center, Brigiotta’s and worked in construction. Doug enjoyed playing pool, hosting cookouts and watching his favorite football team, the Oakland Raiders. Most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Doug will be deeply missed. Doug is survived by his children, Kayleen Howie, Tyler Perez and Robert Hamilton, his grandchildren, Ty’Shaun Howie, Bri’Ella Howie, Tiahjae Perez, Ezra Hodnett, Honor Hodnett, Brandon Hamilton and Stevie Hamilton, his sister, Marcia Howie and her girls, Shayleen Taylor and Kayla Thomas as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also surviving is his long-term companion, Rose Hamilton. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Matthew Piscitelli. Visitation will be held on Saturday September 14, 2024 from 1pm-2p at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A funeral service to follow at the funeral home from 2pm-3pm. Inurnment will be private.
