Liesa K Asher, 61, of Jamestown, NY passed away on the 16th of August 2024. She was born on 6th of October 1962, daughter of Leonard and Rosalyn (Hopper) Asher, born a southern belle in Albany, G.A. Liesa graduated from Monroe High School in 1980. She continued her education, attending and graduating with honors from Jamestown Business College as well as attending art courses at Jamestown Community College.

Liesa is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Asher of Jamestown and Angela (David Mark) Houchen of Stanley, England, five grandchildren, Triston and Anjelita Vera and Isabella, Jack and Owen Houchen, two sisters Paula Hodges and Penny Rogers and a long-term partner Sebastian Griffins as well as her beloved fur babies.

Liesa had a talent and passion for the arts and music. She loved to sketch, draw and paint. Liesa was a self-taught musician and entertainer who loved to play the piano, drums and guitar. She enjoyed the challenge of practicing and picking the chords and melodies by ear and having jam sessions with friends and family. She shared and passed this passion for art and music to her daughters and grandchildren. She will be missed everyday.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Liesa will be held on Thursday 22nd of August 2024 at 11am at the Jamestown Salvation Army church located on 83 South Main St., Jamestown N.Y. Liesa was an animal lover and her cats were her babies. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that for those who wish, to make a donation to the Humane Society.
