Kevin Charles Dowd, 59, passed away in the early morning of May 27, 2024. Kevin was born on November 10, 1964, to the late Ralph and Darlene Dowd of Gastonia, NC.

Kevin loved to play video games; he would play all day if he could. When he was not on the systems, he loved to drive around all over and watch the races at speedway in the summer when they came into town. He loved watching movies and even named several dogs after his favorite movie Rocky. It didn’t matter what gender the dog was, their name was always Rocky. Kevin loved to make everyone laugh with his goofiness, silly jokes, and funny faces. He loved having conversations even if it was with a stranger. Most of all he loved his family. Kevin was a great father to Brianna Dowd, Joshua Lampman, Alecia Dowd, and Kevin Dowd Jr. He was a loving fiancé to Jennifer Lampman, he was a loving brother to Ralph Dowd Jr, Roxanne Carlson, and Laurie Oleshak. He was also a loving son to Ralph and Darlene Dowd. “Your body may be gone but your memories will live on forever in our hearts and souls. Love always and forever, your family.”
