Cynthia A. Whitmore, 66, of Jamestown NY passed away May 13, 2024 at Heritage Park of stage four cancer. She was born in Jamestown NY to the late James and Lucille Van Allen Whitmore. Cindy attended Falconer High School and enjoyed spending time with her dog cricket, working on her diamond art, making jewelry, and wood carvings. In her younger years she worked at Jamestown Sterling and after they closed went on to work as a custodian for Falconer School District. She then moved to California and then to Washington State but moved back to New York after the passing of her companion so she could around family. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents James and Lucille Whitmore, her three sisters Norma Dalrymple, Sharon Whitmore and Rosey Whitmore, her two brothers James and Robert Whitmore and a nephew Brian Whitmore. Cindy is survived by her beloved dog Crickett, a brother William (Kathy) Whitmore, a half sister Christine Whitmore, her nieces Kristina Kinney, Sheena Linkous, Casey Harrison, Missy Schreckengost, Penny Tracy, Tammy Farrar and Christain Girl, her nephews Donald Annis Scott and Rodney Dalrymple, Corry and Time Whitmore, Richard Harding, Robby Hicks, Brad and Brandon Whitmore. There will be no visitation, a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
