Matthew R. Vinson Sr., 39, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, in his home due to complications of diabetes and a 20-year battle with addiction. He was born on October 11, 1984, to Judy V. and Donald E. Keith, he was a lifelong resident of Jamestown. As a young child, Matt enjoyed fishing, bike riding, catching snakes, and playing outdoors with friends and family. As an adult he enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, cooking, video games, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his children Matthew R Vinson Jr. of Jamestown and Raelynn M Vinson (Ashdown) of Randolph. His mother and caregiver Judy Keith of Jamestown, three sisters, Michelle Andrews (Duane), Teresa “TJ” Johnson Koxlien (Sean) and Kerry Vinson-Lobe, all of Jamestown, a brother, Brandon Keith (Lindsey) of Erie and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Donald E. Keith and stepfather Terry G. Ahlgren. A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 10, 2023, at 3:00PM at the First Church of God located at 291 Falconer Street in Jamestown. All are welcome. Arrangements entrusted to the Riccardi Hubert Funeral Home.
