Shirley L. Colera Dietz 71, of Jamestown, NY passed away unexpectedly at UPMC WCA on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born on April 20, 1952, in Corry, PA. The daughter of the late Audrey Colera, and Edwin Clover, and later the adopted daughter of the late Samuel Colera. She was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Jamestown area.
Shirley is survived by her sisters, Vicki Colera-Colwell of Jamestown, Debbie Youngburg of Frewsburg, NY, and a brother, Tony Colera of Cafaro, NY. Three children, a daughter Roxanne Lanphere (Geoffrey), and two sons David (Beth) Lanphere, and Scott Frost all of Jamestown. Seven grandchildren. David Lanphere, Jr. of Buffalo, NY, Gavin Lanphere of Phoenix, OR. Kelsea Miller, Natalie Frost, Charleigh Saeger, Ava Lanphere, and Scott Frost, Jr. all of Jamestown and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Cheryl Radar, and Valerie Covington. She is further proceeded by her nephew Kevin Taylor and her great-grandson Keanu Alexi Burgos.
Shirley had been employed throughout her life at AJ’s Texas Hots, as well as the Resource Center from 2006 to 2015.
Shirley enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, and things that she could make as gifts for her family. As a child and teenager, she enjoyed spending her summers in Union City PA, with her grandmother and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18th from 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home from 12:30pm-1:00pm.
Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
