Obituary of Sebastian R Trusso

Sebastian R. (Busty) Trusso, 90, of Jamestown, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He was born in Jamestown on January 17, 1933, the son of Sylvia Cerra Trusso. Busty graduated from Jamestown High school in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. After his honorable discharge, he was employed by Hope’s Windows until his retirement in 1995. Busty was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Trusso whom he married in April 1955. After retirement they enjoyed spending many winters together in Florida where they could enjoy the weather and he could play golf with friends. Busty was an avid sports fan following both the Buffalo Bills and his beloved NY Yankees. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Trusso. He is survived by his daughter Valerie (Joe) Sanfilippo of Cleveland, OH; two grandchildren Matthew (Kelsi) Sanfilippo of Pittsburgh, PA and Claire Sanfilippo of Washington, DC; and a sister, Anita Pace of East Amherst, NY. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 9, 2023 10AM at St. James Roman Catholic Church. The Rev.
