Frances M. Parinella, 100 Of Jamestown passed away August 8, 2023 at Lutheran Home. Born February 17, 1923 in Jamestown to Sicilian immigrants, Anthony and Josephine Trippi.

Family was everything to Fran. She especially loved family gatherings, reminiscing over old photos and charting her family tree. She enjoyed listening to her music and singing and dancing. She loved being a second mom to Lori Terrill, Paula Slagle and Stephanie Haines.

Fran is survived by her daughter, Josie (Dave) Hough, her step grandchildren, Emily (Daniel) Cabanillas and Andy (Heather) Hough, Her brother-in-law, Stephen Metzger, her nieces and nephews and her 10 step great grandchildren.

Fran was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Galati and Samuel Parinella, her siblings, Grace Smith, Christine Conti, Salvator Trippi, Loretta Moretti, Josephine Metzger and their spouses and her 4 grandchildren, Sean Joseph McGuire, Samuel Francis McGuire, Mathew Anthony McGuire and Corine Nicole McGuire.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.

Visitation will not be observed. A celebration of life in the summer of 2024.

In lieu of flowers please donate in Fran’s memory to the Chautauqua Humane Society or Lakewood Kitten Rescue.
