Leon G Mcelfresh, 55, of Trinity Texas, passed away unexpectedly, on July 11, 2023 in UPMC Hamot hospital, in Erie Pennsylvania.

There will be no services there will however be a celebration of life held on his birthday, August 10, 2023. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the 2 Gingers Inn, in Jamestown New York.

Leon was employed by The 2 Gingers Inn where he did what he loved most as a sous chef. He loved to cook for everyone. He loved sports, backgammon, and chess and most of all , his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Deborah Gates, his son Timothy Michael Mcelresh, and four Aunts,all of Texas. His girlfriend, Liz Murphy ( Kyle Pratt ), his stepdaughter Marissa Morris ( James ), granddaughter Layla Morris, all of Jamestown New York, and many friends.

Leon was a great friend to anyone he came in contact with, he was kind-hearted with a contagious laugh and smile.

You will be greatly missed by everyone.
