Obituary of Cynthia Hall

Cynthia (Cindi) Mae Hall, 71 of Jamestown passed away April 25, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born April 14, 1952 in Jamestown a daughter of Joseph Wilson and Nancy Harris Newhall. Cynthia graduated from Jamestown High School in 1970, the same year where she married the love of her life Clarence “George” Hall. She owned her own craft store, The Yarn Basket. Cynthia also worked as a cook at The Basement Lounge and as a Home Health Aide supervisor for Chautauqua Opportunities. For many years she was a great caregiver to all her clients. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and holiday baking. She will be deeply missed. Cynthia is survived by her mother, Nancy Newhall, her daughters, Leslie Jayne Hall and Christina Kaye Hall, her grandchildren, Dylan Hall, Carrie Brown, Angelina Hernandez, Ashlynn Hernandez, Morgan Tarbell, Maria Hernandez, Adam Tarbell and Autumn Hall, her step grandchildren, Nichole Comber, Thomas Comber and Robert Comber, and her sisters, Debra (William) Peterson of Jamestown, NY, Marsha “Mikki” Campion of Spring Valley, CA and Lois (Mark) Short of Jamestown, NY. Also surviving are several great grandchildren. Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “George” Hall (2012), her daughters, Cheyanne Hall (2013) and Carrie Mae Hall (1982), her father Joseph Wilson, her step father, Harrison Newhall Jr. and her grandmother, Jennie Savich. Visitation will be held Monday May 1, 2023 from 2pm-4pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home with a religious service to follow officiated by Elder John Lunetta.
