Paul Edward Blakey, 61, of Jamestown NY, passed away Saturday April 22, 2023. He was born on May 17, 1961 to Risdon Luke Blakey and Hazel Eva Salters in Tampa, Florida. He had a deep love for both Georgia where he was raised, and Jamestown, New York where he raised his children. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Blakey, their 4 children, William Edward Luke, David Allen Eric, Andrew Rayford Paul, Janie Lynn Diamond, and one other son Andrew Bent living in California, 3 grandchildren Jacob, Amber, and Brandon, and 4 brothers, James (Jim), Marvin Gene, George, Robert, and Don. He was preceded in death by his siblings Janie Delores, Vernon Dale, and William Lynn. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, college football, puzzles, playing cards, spending time with family, and watching westerns & documentaries. He worked at Adanlock and later at Helping Hands. Loved by all who knew him, his passions were only surpassed by his love for his children. If he wasn’t fishing, he would have been asking when you were taking him. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 1pm to 3pm Friday April 28, 2023. Family and close friends are welcomed to private gathering at Venue 31 on 31 N. Main Street, Jamestown NY between 3 and 6 pm for a celebration of life. Inurnment will be at Lake View Cemetery at a later date.
