Thomas F. Peterson, 57, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2022, in Jamestown. He was born November 29, 1965, to Rodney and Barbara Peterson in Olean, NY. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1984 and attended Jamestown Community College, Pensacola College, Suny Empire State College, and Suny Buffalo State college where he received his master’s degree. He served in the Naval Reserves from 1986 – 1992 with an honorable discharge. He worked various jobs throughout his life. Most recently in past years he was a NYS Nursing Assistant at the Magnolia in Frewsburg where he was well loved by the residents and was employee of the month. He is survived by his father Rodney R. Peterson of Jamestown, a sister Kathy Peterson VanHorn (John) of Ashville, and a niece Annika VanHorn of Jamestown. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Pullan Peterson who passed away on December 29, 2011. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Tom will be sadly missed and left us too soon. Memorials can be made to the Magnolia in Frewsburg or Chautauqua County Humane Society. There will be a private family service at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
