Obituary of Frances Walsh

Frances Walsh, 87 of Jamestown passed away December 20, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. She was born November 20, 1935 in Jamestown a daughter of Louie and Neva Madonia Gagliano. Frances was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Frances along with her husband Patrick Walsh of 51 years raised 6 children and enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Frances was employed by Manor Oak Nursing Facility for many years and was also an Avon Representative for more than 50 Years. Frances was an avid bowler for several years, she also enjoyed roller skating in her younger years. She loved gardening and enjoyed going to as many of her family’s activities as possible. She held a place in her heart especially for baseball as she loved listening to the Yankees on the radio. Besides her husband Frances is survived by her brother Thomas (Anita) Gagliano, Sebring FL. Daughters Deborah (Dean)Heitman and Patricia Estus both of Jamestown Sons Jerry (Esther)Spence of Oxnard, CA, John (Paula)Walsh of Youngsville, Pa, and Stephen Walsh of Jamestown, her Grandchildren, Theresa Jackson, Tina Drayton, Bobby & Jamie Clifton, Christopher, Katie, Courtney, and Kyle Spence, Kenzie Ferguson, Christine Sheldon, Jeremy & Josh Walsh, Jacob Walsh, Jerry & Kyle Spence. Also surviving are 17 Great-Grandchildren and 13 Great-Great-Grandchildren Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by her son, William Spence, her granddaughter, Amanda Warner and her sister, Joann Gagliano.
