Obituary of John A Martinelli

John Amedeo Martinelli Jr was called home to be with Jesus on July 29, 2022 at the age of 63 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 9, 1958 in Dunkirk, NY to John Amedeo Martinelli Sr. and the late Rose Pellerino. John was a loving hard-working warm-hearted man. He enjoyed being surrounded by his children, friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, camping and having a cold one in his hand. After being forced into early retirement after his illness, he kept himself busy with being an Uber driver. He always had a smile on his face and love in his big heart. He lived life to the fullest. John is survived by his father, John Amedeo Martinelli Sr, his children, Jessica (Clinton) Harley, Jefferey, Jonathan and Lee Martinelli, Jen (Brian) Lamere Swartz, Crystal and Dawn Lamere all of Jamestown, NY, and his 6 sisters and one brother. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John is preceded in desth by his mother, Rose Pellerino Ingerson, his grandson, Clinton (CJ) Harley, his uncles, Anthony (Toad) Martinelli and Edward (Eddie) Hitchcock, and both sets of grandparents. Visitation will be held Wendesday August 3, 2022 from 12pm-3pm at Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. A funeral service to be held 3pm at the funeral home.
