Dear Family:
As far as we are apart, I always felt welcomed and Loved by Joan. She met me as a young teen and has seen me grow up and has always been a wonderful person to me. My brother Ted is married to her daughter Darlene. Joan is always a joy and sweet woman at family gatherings and her children were lucky to have her as a mother. May her family be at peace as the grieve and be assured that her memory is a blessing to all who knew her.

I loved portaling my mom each day even if it was only to say hi how are you doing. I started signing off with my mom by saying until tomorrow smiley and she would smile and laugh and that made my day. I'm going to miss her so much. Love, Dar
