Robert Louis Smith, 91 of Sugar Grove, PA passed away March 20, 2022 at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehab Center. He was born June 19, 1930 in Gowanda, Ny a son of Louis and Frieda Smith. Robert is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Mississippi. He was a a auto body specialist by trade. Robert did body work and car painting at his shop in Sugar Grove and worked for Ed Shults in Corry, PA and Jamestown, NY. Robert also worked as a truck driver. Robert enjoyed camping, fishing and taking scenic drives. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Robert is survived by his wife Carole Camp Smith, his children, Thomas Smith, Lisa (Larry) Lookenhouse, Sandra (Mark) Cataldo, Louis Smith and William Smith all of Sugar Grove, PA and Julie (Steve) Ecker of Naples, FL, his sister, Lorraine Brown of Canandaigua, NY and his dog Dolly. Also Surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Cody Smith in 2021 and his brother, James Smith in 2009. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home.
